Ok, for a start, the DG message was about your purpose here. Not about how God is insanely in love with you (that actually came from the overflow, but I'm glad u guys caught it as well).

The message was about what did God put you here for? What's the purpose for your existence. The answer is in Genesis 1:26.

But the question is, then why aren't more people reigning in life? Why aren't Christians themselves reigning in life? Why aren't we reigning in life, or in certain areas of our lives?

The answer lies with belief. Do we believe that we are to reign in life? I mean, what tells u that u are supposed to reign in life? How do you know?

The word of God. The bible, my friends, are what differentiates a reigning person and one who doesn't. It simply means that people who do reign in life are people who read the word and know beyond a shadow of doubt of what their rights are. Going to the bible tells you that you are the head and not the tail. That you are above and not beneath. That God wants to restore your family and that God cares even for your appearance. The bible is your blueprint to your rights as a King/Queen. If not how would you know?

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the___________. WORD OF GOD.
Read what the word says about your situation and realise God's truth behind it. I shared with everyone something that I learnt from Kenneth Copeland many years ago.

Circumstances are FACT.
But God's word is TRUTH.
And truth always outweighs fact.

Lets learn some cheemalogy. Your failure in exams may be a fact. But God's word is that you are the head and not the tail. And God's word outweighs that fact that you are not reigning over your studies.

It's a fact that you are sick, but God's word says that He has healed you of your afflictions. Truth outweighs fact. What you believe you will become. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. How will you know your rights if you don't read it? How to believe in something when you don't even know it exists.

There was a true story that Pastor Prince once shared and it really stuck with me. There was a very old and rich man who was dying. He was never married and he never had kids. Before he died, he gave to his servant, who took care of him, a piece of paper. The servant kept that piece of paper for many years but she never knew what was written on it cause she couldn't read.

Many years later, on her deathbed, living in a dilapidated house, her Pastor came to pray for her before she died. He saw the piece of paper that the rich man had given this servant hung up on a wall. He asked the servant if she knew what it was. She said she couldn't read, so she didn't know. That piece of paper was a will, transferring all his wealth to her, and all these years, she never lived the life he died and left her cause she couldn't read.

Sad isn't it. Its sad that we don't reign in life cause we can't read what Jesus died to give us. Its sad that we continue to live impoverished lives simply because we can't read. Cruel isn't it? You know whats worse? That we don't reign in our lives, not because we CAN'T read, but rather CHOOSE not to!

My suggestion? Start reading and start realising your rights and take back what belongs to you. Your success in studies, having good friends, a restored family, even good looks. Take back what belongs to you and start reigning in life.
