John 21:9, 12
9Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread… 12Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.”
Like many parents, Wendy and I pray for our daughter Jessica every night before she sleeps. When Jessica was two years old, we decided to pray that her diapers would not overflow during the night. Her diapers not overflowing might be a small thing, but we knew that it would give our little girl a comfortable sleep every night. And after we started praying for this, we noticed that her diapers did not overflow.
That incident made me realize that our God is not just interested in the big things that affect us. He bothers and cares about the minor things that affect us too. There is nothing too insignificant for Him. So don’t be like some religious people who have this idea that God only wants us to bring the big issues to Him, and that He doesn’t want us to bother Him with small issues.
Nothing could be further from the truth. God cares about everything that you experience, from the small ulcer in your mouth to your concerns about the world’s economy. Even when you tell Him about the inconvenience that might arise if the bus is late, He takes note of that too. In fact, when you come to Him often about anything and everything in your daily life, you compliment Him because you are telling Him that He is your Daddy God who watches over you.
Jesus represented the Father’s heart and will when He was on earth. (John 5:19) He cared when His disciples were out at sea the whole night, cold and shivering. He cared when they caught nothing that night. (John 21:3) He cared that they would not have fish to sell. So He gave them a huge catch early the next morning. (John 21:5–6) He knew that they were cold and hungry, so He prepared breakfast for them, served over a fire of coals to keep them warm.
Jesus showed us that God is our loving heavenly Father who cares about the big and small things that happen every day in our lives. Nothing escapes God’s eyes because He loves you!

If feels life the sky has never been so blue
But that's not the way it used to be
Because there was a time that I was without you
Before I said that I believe
Ooh I need a savior
Ooh I need a savior
I want to give this up
I want to hold your hand
Take away this fear that's like an ocean in my head
I want to tell you now, What I couldn't say before
You are everything that I was always looking for
So take me where you want me
Take me 'cuase I want to be yours
I've got pride that I still have to break
It's keeping me away from you
And you stay patient while I make mistakes
I'm learning how to trust in you
Ooh always a savior
Ooooh
I want to give this up
I want to hold your hand
Take away this fear that's like an ocean in my head
I want to tell you now, What I couldn't say before
You are everything that I was always looking for
So take me where you want me
Take me 'cuase I want to be yours
In the good and the bad times
Ooooh
It don't really matter
I want to know you
I want to give this up
I want to hold your hand
Take away this fear that's like an ocean in my head
I want to tell you now, What I couldn't say before
You are everything that I was always looking for
I want to give this up
I want to hold your hand
Take away this fear that's like an ocean in my head
I want to tell you now, What I couldn't say before
You are everything that I was always looking for
So take me where you want me
Take me 'cos I want to be yours

adam and eve
by DG Admin

at 6:45 PM
i will share what i realised during service today.
God gave only one law when adam and eve walked the earth. not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil
knowledge of good and evil = law (literally)
cos the law says that you can't do this can't do that. or this is bad that is bad.
or this is good this is evil.
and knowledge of good and evil is consciousness of sin. and when there is consciousness of sin there is death.
and if there is no law (no tree), there can be no sin.
adam and eve both ate of the fruit of the tree (law) and law/sin was imputed through the breaking of the one law that they must stay away from the tree.
i don't know how this may help, but it's just something i thought of in service.

I have wisdom because Jesus lives in me and He is my wisdom.
We are not like the world!
Psalsm 91:1
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under that shadow of the Almighty. They mercy Seat.
Jesus is without spot or blemish.
So I am without them too.
When Jesus offered Himself at the cross,
By 1 man's sacrifice,
He paid the full price which was
PERFECT and COMPLETE
God is with me and FOR me!
If God is FOR me,
There is POWER in God's word!
NOTHING, no evil, can touch me for I am PROTECTED by Psalms 91
No evil shall befall me.
No destruction will come near me.
God will set me on high for I have known His name.
God ->
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble.
I will deliver him and honour him.
With LONG LIFE I will satisfy him and
I will show him my Salvation.
My Jesus.
God will always provide for me
My prayers are prayers of perfection because they are based on Jesus' perfection.
When we pray
In Jesus name Amen
We are saying that ALL His promises are YES and AMEN .
My prayers arae fragrant to God.
Prayers also include praise and worship
It is communication with God.
I stand between the living and the dead.
My prayers are POWERFUL
When you pray prayers and look at how big God is and not how small you are, your prayers will be answered.
Thats all I got.
Have fun.
Bye

god blessed the broken road
by DG Admin

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
Yes He did
I think about the years I spent, just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost, and give it back to you
But you just smile and take my hand
You've been there, you understand
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
But now I'm just rolling home into my lover's arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

hi kidz.
please try to be on time for dare services from now on & meet each other before pre-service starts. so that we can go in as a dg, & when the auditorium doors open we can get enough seats for all of us so it won't be like today where jasper & maria had to sit away from us.
Unless you have something on before dare service/level meetings, please make an effort to be on time. don't take for granted the fact that your dg members will reserve seats for you because it wouldn't be very much fair to them if you're constantly getting them to reserve seats for you right?
so yes, be on time the next time if you can alright, especially those who are coming from home/don't have anything on before that.
anyways...
Connect 09's on 5sept. meet up for breakfast? :D I vote for Macs@800/830ish.
ps: this post was not meant to target @ anyone. Jay said something about putting up a post to tell all of us to be on time next time just now I think.

footprints in the sand

Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you."

Nothing To Do, Only Believe
John 6:28–29
28… “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
When I was a young Christian, I attended a seminar on what we must do to “work the works of God”. I was told that we had to pray more, fast more, know our enemy and so on. I came away from the seminar confused. Then one day, I found the same question in the Bible. But the answer was very different!
In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus being asked the same question by the multitude who had been awed by His miracles — “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” The people had seen Jesus healing the sick, and feeding 5,000 men with only five loaves and two fish.
Notice how Jesus answered them: “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” My friend, the greatest doing is believing — believing in Jesus the sent one, who has done it all for you at the cross!
If you are asking, “What must I do to receive my healing?” the answer is this: Believe in Jesus, who “Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses”. (Matthew 8:17) We have seen members of our church delivered from life-threatening conditions such as cancer and kidney failure. They had simply believed that Jesus bore their diseases on His own body. There was nothing for them to do, except to believe.
When the jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30–31) The greatest miracle in your life happens not by you working and trying to save yourself, but by you simply believing in Jesus who died to save you from eternal damnation and to give you eternal life. Why then, should the lesser miracles of healing or financial breakthroughs be any different?
Beloved, what is the miracle you need today? There is nothing left for you to do, but everything for you to believe, because Jesus has done it all for you!

Point of Difference
I don't like conflicts
I don't like facing challenges.
Conflicts & Challenges can bring out both the best, and the worst in people.
But when conflicts and challenges are introduced, God doesn't want us to run away from them
He wants us to trust in Him.
He wants us to watch Him guide us through the challenges & overcome the obstacles we face on the way. He wants us to open up our hearts & listen to what Him and Him alone. Listen to what He has to say to guide us out of our problems. Just listen to Him, because He can solve all our problems. :)
To us, the problem may be really huge, but to God, the problem is reallyreally small cos He's sososo big. He holds all the universes/galaxies (whichever is bigger, ha.) in His hands. He created mankind, He created everything. Wouldn't He be able to help us overcome all our problems if He has so much power to create everything.
Our Daddy God is a really caring & loving & generous God. He was willing to send down His one and only son Jesus, who was completely innocent & pure at heart, to die for all our past, present and future sins.

Jesus didn't just die. He went through pain and suffering and went to the cross. He went through all that for us. He went through all that just so we can have the liberty of calling God our Abba, our Father. The finished work of Jesus Christ, is a picture of God's love for us. If God, our father could love us to such extent and give so much just to save all of us, how much more would He provide for us in times of troubles & distress.
How much more would He do for us just to help us through the challenges we face and the conflicts we're in
God loves man. God loves all of us. His love for us is unchanging. God is a caring God, He wants us to live heaven on earth. He wants to to live life happy :) He wants us to enjoy life. He wants us to have fun.
He wants us to cast all our cares, worries & sorrows into His hands. God wants us to rely on Him.
He wants us to know that, we're loved deeply by Him. & that when we come to Him, we can be vulnerable & fully reliant on Him. He wants us, to put our trust on Him.
Trust Him, trust that we'll overcome all our challenges with Him.
Let's just put our faith & trust on Him, trust that, He'll see us through.
We need God in our situation.
So that He can be our solution.
Focus on Him.
God puts challenges in our lives to make us stronger.
Look at our testimony, & not the test.

Don’t Be Judgment-Focused
2 Corinthians 5:19
19… God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them…
On which two ancient cities did God rain brimstone and fire? If your answer is Sodom and Gomorrah, you are right. But if you think that God was all eager to destroy the two cities, you are wrong!
God wasn’t willing at all. He was not on a sin hunt. He was on a righteousness hunt so that He could spare the cities. (Genesis 18:23–32) And I believe that if Abraham had asked God, “What if You can find just one righteous man?” God’s answer would have been the same: “I will not destroy the place for the sake of one righteous man.”
Today, the righteousness of one Man — Jesus — has come. Jesus died for our sins and rose again for our justification. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our sins against us!
Therefore, no judgment will fall on you today because it fell on Jesus 2,000 years ago at Calvary. And if God was gracious enough to remove Lot and his family before the judgment fell (Genesis 19:12–22), how much more will He do for you who are no longer under judgment!
And because God does not judge you, don’t be like Lot’s wife, who became a pillar of salt when she turned around to look at the brimstone and fire. (Genesis 19:24–26) She wanted to see God’s judgment, even though the angels had warned, “Don’t look back, lest you be destroyed.” (Genesis 19:17)
So don’t be judgment-focused and look back at the sins you have committed. God is not against you. He is for you and on your side. He remembers that He has already judged and punished your sins in the body of His Son. And because He is faithful to His Son and to what His Son has done, He will never judge or punish you. Any trouble that you might have today is not from Him. But He will show you a way of escape because He is on your side. He loves you and has your best interests at heart.
Beloved, God is not out to get you. He is out to bless you. And He wants you blessed more than you can ever ask or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)

oh gosh. this is so funny. i'm using jordan's computer because i am in his house, in his room(isn't it obvious) and i realised how happy i am these days because of you guys. :D d/g = awesome. hahaha. oh and i realised how long i didn't blog in this d/g blog so i am back again! :D hahah. gosh..
before begin what i really wanted to say, i want you to tell you this:
jordan got a new dog, i think you guys know about this... hahah and it is very small and it has huge eyes. when jordan first saw it he exclaimed, "gosh. it has HUGE eyes and it looks scary!!" hahaha. and he was kind of freaked out by it because its eyes were bulging and he kept running around like some mad dog. lol. then he started to love it and carried it everywhere. (i just hope he brings it to the toilet..) and saying that he is cute with his huge eyes (ironic, isn't it.) hahaha
anyway, then i was in his room, watching him carry his dog but the dog kept growling and he finally put the dog down... and then the dog ran to hide under his bed and he went on fours to look at him. hahah. he was throwing him the Monsters vs. Aliens figurine the alien and the dog bit it and wouldn't let go. hahaha. then the dog ran towards him and jordan got a shock and started jumping up and down shouting "demon dog! demon dog!" and he shouted, "I will cast you in Jesus' name." and i kept laughing.
okok, he wants to use the computer. next time i shall blog somemore. see you guys.
