ok i'll post my notes.
but they're quiet hard to understand...
i'll try anyway
Jay started with Romans 8:1-2
1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free of sin and death.
mainly what its trying to say is that the law of the Spirit superceeds (superly exceeds) the law of sin and death.
He also shared about disregarding the voice of condemnation.
and the word "condemnation" is something like the word "damn"
and in the dictionary "damn" means to condemn one to hell.
(so no more "damn damn damn." only "very very very")
Condemnation is an attack on your identity.
Condemnation and correction are two very different things.
Condemnation pulls you down to the devil's level so he can beat you down even lower.
Correction comes with love and God only corrects you because He loves you.
Sometimes life maybe going good for you and all of a sudden God takes that away.
You feel as though He doesn't want you to have this luxury then you become like
"ah why God do this to me?? he dont like me is it?" then you feel as though he's like
"Hmm... Jordan's life is quite good now.... Maybe i should give him... idk... PROBATION??!"
(ps. that was the part of DG that impacted me the most. cos i know God gave me this probation so i could perform at my best and rise above the levels.)
So basically He's taking something good from you to give you something Better
and takes away something better to give you something BEST.
We are all like instruments. But all instruments need someone to play. So we all are instruments in God's hands. God wants to play us so that we can be a blessing to Others and please God even more..
(i forgot some verses but will edit once jay gets back to me)
your welcome
